How It Works
The process is straightforward — upload your completed drawings, we review for compliance and apply the PE stamp, and return permit-ready documents to you fast.
Upload Your Completed Drawings
Email your completed fire alarm or low-voltage shop drawing PDFs to [email protected]. Include the project address, AHJ name, and any specific stamping requirements from the local jurisdiction.
Compliance Review
NFASD's engineering department reviews your drawings for compliance with NFPA 72, NEC, IBC, and local AHJ requirements. Any issues are identified and communicated before stamping.
PE Stamp Applied
A licensed Professional Engineer from our onboard engineering department, reviews, stamps and signs the approved drawings. We provide wet-stamped or digitally stamped sets depending on your AHJ's requirements.
Permit-Ready Delivery
Your stamped, permit-ready drawing set is returned to you — formatted for your specific AHJ's submittal process and ready to submit for permit approval.
Why the AHJ Requires a PE Stamp
A PE stamp is a legal requirement in most states for commercial fire alarm and low-voltage permit submittals. Here's why it matters for your project:
