What Are Fire Alarm Shop Drawings?
Fire alarm shop drawings are the complete set of construction documents required to obtain a fire alarm permit and install a fire alarm system in a commercial building. Every Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) — whether a local fire marshal, building department, or state fire office — requires a stamped, permit-ready drawing set before issuing a fire alarm permit.
